Spring Break!

Beware of the long post. I don't know how to make a slideshow of my pictures. I will have to learn soon.
Anyway, we went to the cabin for Easter and Spring Break. There is still a lot of snow. Here are some of the many pictures of our trip!
The girls out sledding!
With the cousins!
Poor Jonah had to hang out with me inside.

Dying Easter Eggs!
Mollie did not like the smell of the vinegar in the dye.
Lillie working on her masterpiece! This is what Jonah did while the big kids dyed their eggs.
Yum, gotta love the Zaney Fruits!
EASTER MORNING!
All the kids waiting to find their Easter Baskets. Some were worried the Easter Bunny
would not find us at the cabin.
The good old Easter Bunny always follows through.
Lillie found a sucker!Books, coloring books and crayons, movies, stickers,
and candy, candy, candy!
Jonah was excited about his new ball!
So much fun!!

Jonah's Birthday Party

I am very behind with my blogging. I am going to make an attempt to catch up.
Here are Jonah's birthday party photo's. We went to Grandma and Grandpa Clayton's house for dinner, cake, and presents.
Jonah didn't really know what was going on, but he was having fun anyway.

Presents, presents, and more presents!
Our big one year old boy!

Happy Belated Birthday Jonah!

Jonah turned a year old on Monday.
We can't believe that it has already been a year since Jonah joined our family
on Easter morning 2008.
It has been so much fun having a little boy around.
We will post his birthday pictures soon!

Jonah and Henry

We watched Henry and Mamie the other day. Jonah thought Henry's pacifier was pretty neat. He kept trying to take Henry's away so I finally had to give him one of his own.
As you can see, he has no idea what to do with the thing.
Jonah absolutely loves cousin Henry!

Jonah!

Jonah started walking a few weeks ago. He is really learning how to get around.
He thinks he is very big!
Some of his favorite things to do...
Pull everything out of the cupboards.
Color on the walls. (yes, color on the walls!)
Play in the dishwasher.
Climb into the kids chairs and act very proud.

CHRISTMAS!

The kids all woke up at a reasonable hour Christmas morning.
We gathered them together for a quick photo and down we went to see if
Santa had visited our house.
Sure enough, Santa had come. Jonah was totally oblivious to what all the
excitement was about ,but seemed to have fun anyway.
Mollie asked for a "pink" Carebear this year.
(I don't really understand why--we have about 20 already that nobody plays with.)
Lillie asked for books. Now that she is learning to read she is obsessed with it.
Annie with some things for her American Girl doll.

Grandma and Grandpa Tidwell's house!

After opening presents at home we got ready and headed to the Tidwell's.
First we all got to talk to Uncle Judd on the phone!
After the telephone made the rounds we enjoyed our favorite meal of rump roast.
After dinner we all gathered together
to witness the chaos of 19 kids all opening their presents at once.
I wish so bad that I had taken a group picture of all the grandchildren, but
in the chaos of the moment, I only managed to get a picture of my own.
Here is Annie. She is not excited at all!
Lillie and Grandma Jill. Lillie still wasn't feeling quite herself.
Miss Mollie waiting patiently for her presents
And Mr. Jonah. (He still has no clue what is going on!)
Fun was had by all! So sad that it is over. Christmas always happens
to end a little faster than I would like.

Christmas Eve

We spent Christmas Eve at the Clayton's house.
We had a yummy dinner and then the kids opened presents.
Jonah loves his new horse from Alisa and Grandma and
Grandpa!

Lillie and Mollie were excited to open their gifts.

Annie and Lillie posing in their Christmas Pajamas.
Poor Lillie had surgery on the 23rd to have her
tonsils and adenoids removed (nice present from
her parents!). She was so good, even though she
was not feeling well and couldn't eat anything!

Lillie and Mollie.

What a happy baby!!
